Monday Musings #4

Morning!

I'm off school today as it's 'enrichment week' or whatever. Planning to be very productive today!

Anyway,  this morning I woke up to he terrible news that another incident has happened in London. This time, aimed at Muslims as they broke their fast in Finsbury Park.
"Time is not something to seize, it's something to sacrifice; it's not something to grab, it's something to give"

//I couldn't fit the whole quote into the image so here it is in full above//

In the light of the fire at Grenfell Tower and other recent incidents, we have all seen how communities have come together to lend a hand, give material and emotional support for those who need it.

This is all a testament to the solidarity and resilience of people in the face of adversity.

In time of hardship, getting caught up in yourself is easy and remembering others above yourself is difficult but reaching out to someone can bring a smile to their face and make their whole day better.

Just taking 2 seconds out of your day to hold a door open for a stranger is a way you can show generosity for someone in everyday life.

I have something exciting coming up which will help you to let someone #knowkindness so stay tuned for that!

In the mean time, give a little bit of your time to help someone in need today.
